Job Title: IT Field Services Technician

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

We are seeking a highly personable IT Field Services Technician to provide support to our education clients. This is an opportunity for someone with great communication and technical skills and a customer-centric approach, as you will be solving problems and making a difference for primary and secondary schools throughout the Greater Sydney area.

Established in 2004 e-flo Computers is comprised of 16 highly dedicated and helpful IT Technicians. We are committed to delivering quality support to schools and small to medium-sized businesses, as well as personal clients. We value human connection and helping others which has been the driving force behind our business’s growth over the past 20 years.

Our team environment is all about being there for one another and building reliable trustworthy relationships with our clients. We not only focus on technical expertise but also on building trust, open communication, and a friendly atmosphere. We believe that maintaining a positive and supportive relationship with our clients is just as important as providing excellent technical solutions.

We’re looking for a technician who can:

· Communicate clearly with clients in non-technical and/or technical language.
· Explore and showcase new and emerging technology for education. This can include technology like · 3D printers, robotics, virtual reality, green screens, and movie making.
· Be outcome focused and able to respond to the needs of the client.
· Travel around the Greater Sydney region to work with clients.
· Troubleshoot both hardware and software issues with desktops, laptops, and tablet computers running Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android.
· Resolve issues with printers, network equipment, projectors, interactive whiteboards.
· Install and configure network equipment including routers, switches and wireless access points.
· Manage iPads using Apple Configurator 2 and Jamf MDM.
· Manage Active Directory, File and Print servers running Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.

This role would suit someone who has:

· The ability to work individually and in group setting. You will be representing the company while working autonomously with our clients for most of your week.
· The ability to work in a school environment. You will need to complete a Working With Children Check prior to starting work.
· A methodical and disciplined approach.
· Strong technical ability.
· Some experience in an IT helpdesk or support role (bonus but not required).
· Their own vehicle and a valid drivers license. As you will be required to work at a number of clients across the Greater Sydney area you will be required to have your own vehicle for this role
